Perfumes are typically alcohol-based and blend natural with synthetic notes for a strong projection. Attars, on the other hand, are pure oils with no alcohol, giving a softer scent that sits closer to the skin and lasts for hours.
All of our attars are alcohol-free oil blends. Our perfume sprays, like most fine fragrances, do contain alcohol as a carrier.
Every fragrance in our range, attar or spray, is formulated to last at least 8 hours with good projection. Attars last especially long since they're made from concentrated oil rather than a diluted spray.
Yes, all our formulas go through dermatological testing. That said, we'd still suggest a small patch test on your wrist first — wait a few minutes, and if there's no reaction you're good to go.
Roll a small amount directly onto pulse points — wrists, the side of your neck, behind your ears. It's best to let it settle rather than rubbing your wrists together, which can break down the scent.
